As he is of Japanese descent, of course we would like to adopt from Japan. We lived there for our first 2 years of marriage, so I am aware of the culture surrounding adoption and never thought it was possible. I would be most grateful if you could e-mail me any pertinent information. I am mostly concerned about the monetary requirements.
